That’s why at Pamoja, I keep things simple, honest and intentional. As a small brand, I’m doing my best with the resources I have - and I want you to feel good knowing that every product you choose is a small, powerful act of care for both your skin and the world around you.

  • Free from palm oil, SLS, synthetic fragrance, silicones, phenoxyethanol, and GMOs

Each ingredient is chosen not just for how it feels on your skin, but how it’s grown, harvested, and processed. You’ll always find full transparency on the label - so you know exactly what you’re using.

Pamoja is proudly vegan and certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny - the gold standard in ethical beauty. This means:

  • No animal ingredients

  • No animal testing — at any stage of the supply chain

  • No loopholes or grey areas

Because being kind to animals is non-negotiable.

 

Minimal Plastic

Eco-friendly, re-usable, recyclable packaging

  • Miron violet glass packaging protects your skincare while extending shelf life — and it looks beautiful on your shelf. You can reuse it at home or send it back to me through the Return, Earn & Reuse scheme.

  • Cotton bags are made from Fairtrade and GOTS-certified cotton, produced in socially responsible facilities.

  • Shipping materials are 100% recyclable — from kraft paper tape to upcycled tissue, all printed and sourced in the UK.

  • No outer product boxes — just what you need, and nothing more.

Return, Earn & Reuse

Send your jars back - and be rewarded

When you're finished with your jars, send them back and I’ll reuse them in future batches.

  • Return 3 or more jars and receive £5 off your next order

  • Bottles aren’t accepted right now, but I’m exploring future options

How does it work?

Step 1: Collect 3+ Pamoja jars, wash them in soapy water and pack them securely into the box your order came in along with your name and email address.  You can use any box, but using mine reduces waste. 

Step 2: Address to Pamoja Skincare Ltd, Clavering House, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 3NG.  Post the box 2nd class at your local post office or purchase and print postage online at https://send.royalmail.com/ and drop it off at the post office.  Please note 2nd class Royal Mail shipping is currently £3.20.

Step 3: Once I receive your box, I will email you a unique voucher code for £5 off your next order.  Don't forget to include your name and email address so I know who to send it to! 

Step 4: I'll clean, disinfect and reuse the glass containers in my next batch.  Lids will be recycled through Terracycle as it's necessary to have a fresh, new lid on all new products for hygiene reasons.

I've chosen Miron glass, high quality glass packaging that protects the precious natural ingredients and keeps your product clean and safe.  For Pamoja, at this stage of business, it's also the most sustainable option, as it can be recycled and/or reused.  

Reusing glass containers is one of the most effective and inexpensive ways to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. Refilling and reusing glass containers directly reduces the demand for manufacturing new packaging, reduces waste and energy consumption. Significant reductions in waste and energy consumption can be achieved with just 7–8 reuses of a single bottle.

Can I recycle the packaging?

If you don’t wish to take part, you can relax knowing that all packaging is recyclable, even the tape on your parcel can be recycled.  The delivery box, leaflets and shredded packing paper can be added to your compost heap as they're all biodegradable.
