We sell natural skincare products through the internet. The www.pamojaskincare.com website, is owned and operated by us. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

In order to fulfil your order, we need to know certain personal information collected at time of order. The information we hold will consist of but not be limited to the following: Title; Name; Address; Email address; Telephone number (this will only be used for matters relating to your order); Credit card details are encrypted after data entry and are not stored on our systems once used. We do not collect any Special Category Data (sensitive data) such as race, religion, biometrics or health data.

We will use your information to communicate with you; screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, we will use your information in the following ways:

We would like to contact you to let you know of our new products and any offers we may be running. This will usually be the form of our latest newsletter via email using mail services such as Mailchimp. We may use product reviews or testimonials on our website or social media pages. The information you provide when you buy online with us is used by secure third-party payment gateways (e.g. Amazon Pay, Shopify Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal) in order to process your payment.

Royal Mail is our preferred mail carrier. They will process your name, address and email address to enable them to mail out your order. They can access the following other customer information when an order is processed – telephone number, email address, geolocation, IP address and browser user agents. Royal Mail can also access blog commenter emails, IP addresses and browser users’ agents.

We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a lawful request for information or to otherwise protect our rights.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA FOR

To serve our customers in the best possible manner we will maintain your order information for our records unless, and until, you ask us to delete this information.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you. You have the right to ask us to delete the data we hold about you. If at any time you wish to exercise this right you can contact us by writing to us at our address below or email us at hello@pamojaskincare.com. If you wish to remove your Pamoja account, this can be done via the ‘My Account, Privacy Tools’ function. To protect your privacy and security we may need to verify your identity before deleting your data.

Please note that your data will be transferred through Shopify outside of Europe including to Canada and the United States. Your information is securely held and isn't shared with any third parties.

DISCLOSURES

We will seek to act in the best interest of our customers at all times and will not abuse our position of data controller. We wish to be as clear and transparent as possible and uphold any requests for data disclosure or amendment as soon as possible. It may take up to a maximum of 4 weeks for such requests to become effective, and in this time period pre-scheduled communications we cannot amend may still be received. We will do everything possible to ensure this time delay is kept to a minimum.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We take security of our customers’ data very seriously and this includes credit card information. We use a website service called Shopify, which has servers in the USA. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. Your information is securely held and isn't shared with any third parties.
